We are the Hoge Community
Originally it was about the memes and the gains. Hoge was a meme token trying to play off of the recent success of Dogecoin. But somehow while bombarding /biz/ with thread after thread pumping our bags, while blasting twitter with fresh made memes so hard that that the algorithms labeled us as bots, everything changed. The comradery in the telegram while we hyped each other’s posts up on every social media platform, seemed to push everyone involved to the next level. We had people who had never used photoshop before trying it out for the first time in order to make better memes to contribute to the madness. The telegram was filled with everyone congratulating each other on a job well done as thread after thread made it to the top of the various crypto subreddits, with some of them making it to the front page of reddit. We made so much noise that a couple of blue check marks on twitter showed us some love as well. While all of that was going on things changed.
It became about more than the gains, and became about the community. Which is something that seems to be lacking now in the current crypto meta. People care about nothing more than making gains and the second things don’t go as planed everyone abandons ship in search the next big thing to move onto. There are some exceptions to this rule, but usually its not so strong that multiple devs who’ve invested in the project offer their services at no cost to build additions to the tokens ecosystem. With Hoge that’s currently happening.
After the initial death spiral we had people, who were both at a loss and others who were still in profit take it fully upon themselves to begin working on things such as https://hoge.fun. We have others who began live-steaming themselves working on Hoge related art on twitch, while others are working on creating an NFT card game, and at least two members of the community working on game using unity.
There are those within the crypto community that would lead you to believe that Hoge is nothing more than some pump & dump scam, but were here to show you we’re far from that. We’re here not some fly by night cash grab, were here to stay and were here to make a lasting impact on the crypto industry. We are the Hoge Community.
